disappointing
The tickets said the local opening act started at 7:30 and I had no idea what to expect. We waited 50 more minutes before John Craigie and Faith started, he played for 30 minutes. Was there supposed to be a warm up act? The venue was nice, easy to find our seats and see the stage. Faith did a lot of slow, newer stuff that was a snoozer, I was aware the concert was Tim AND Faith. The crowd was ready to have fun and really party, but there were really only a couple of songs that were real crowd pleasers. It was more of a Faith concert with a bit of Tim thrown in. Tim could have rocked the crowd with some more old favorites, but again did not. The chair thing at the beginning was different. I'd have rather heard some good old country sing along songs, rather than waste time walking through the crowd and coming up through the stage at the end.
